Those work only for the V3 as it's shorter than other cams.

Nov. 21 2022 : added some more accessories.

Project Introduction

This is a redesign of the Wu Tank Max frame with the following improvements :

Added support for Walksnail Avatar VTX at the rear.

Lighter than V1 (by a good 20g).

Changed central standoffs layouts to give more room at the center of the frame.

Added toilet tank battery mount cutouts.

Note that only the camera plates are the same as in the V1, all the other frame parts are different. All the accessories from the V1 will work on that one too except for the gopro camera mount (a new one is provided here.

Kudos

GoaFPV for the original design demand, Ralf Maigler (RookieFPV) for lots of inputs, great accessories, Mauri Mata FPV who is super willing to test the frame and requested the toilet-tank battery mount.

Frame Specs

5" arms : WideX Layout (arms are at 33° angle). Great quality cuts and fair pricing/delivery time.

you need to send the provided DXF files with the following instructions :

4 x arms : 6mm carbon fiber (4 x the same for 5", for 6" you need 2 front and 2 back arms, they're different)

1 x front plate : 2.5mm carbon fiber

2 x cam plates : 2.5mm carbon fiber (chose between the normal ones or O3 version according to your needs)

1 x rear plate : 2mm carbon fiber

1 x top plate : 2mm carbon fiber

You can optionally ask for countersunk holes on the rear of the top plate and have your screws sitting flush.

Feel free to ask me for directions and help.

Installing the VTX (Vista, Walksnail or whatever 20x20 or 25.5x25.5 VTX)

The rear 20x20 and 25.5x25.5 mount is intended to be used with M2 pressnuts that go under the rear plate. So you just have to screw your VTX using M2 screws coming from the top. In the provided files you'll find some VTX washers that are 2.2mm tall and will allow you to give some clearance for air and wires under the VTX. I recommend M2 16-18mm screws for a DJI Vista and probably 14-16mm for Walksnail.

Check the pictures provided, you'll get the idea quite easily.

My build

I use the following gear on my main flyer :

[FPVCycle 25mm 1880 Kv motors] (do you a treat and get some of those amazing motors)

Gemfan 5226/HQProp Ethix S3/S4 props

AIKON mini stack (F7 fc)

DJI Vista

TBS Crossfire RX

Ovonic 1000 mAh 6S and Tattu 1400 mAh 6S lipos

GoPro Session 5

I would also recommend RCINPower Smoox 2306plus 1880 Kv motors as an alternative.
