This tool is used to precisely adjust the angle of mountain bike handlebars, enabling seamless installation of WTB Padloc grips. To ensure accurate cutting, consult the official WTB website for step-by-step guidance on marking the bars beforehand. Proceed with caution, as the bars cannot be restored once cut. The tool relies on a 1/4" bold pin as a secure clamp to maintain stability during the cutting process. Two 1/4" x 2" long dowel pins serve as precision guides for the saw blade, accommodating even the thickest carbon bars. The carefully spaced guides ensure a smooth cut, perfect for high-end grip installation. During my experiment, I successfully used this tool to cut through carbon bars still mounted on my bike, resulting in a clean and precise angle that perfectly complemented the WTB grips. To achieve a square cut on the bars first, which is only necessary if adjusting the length before making the angled cut, I utilized a custom-made solution (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4280411).
