WSU KC Light Grill
thingiverse
I received a set of KC Hi-LiTEs for Christmas years ago, and I was overjoyed, yahoo! However, disaster struck when the lights were left on with their light covers in place, causing the entire light grill to melt. Though this was a major letdown, it also presented an exciting opportunity - not only could I create new grills, but I could also represent my alma mater, WSU. The picture included here shows the finished piece after about a year of use in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. To protect and enhance its appearance, I applied lacquer spray paint to the grill, which greatly improved its durability and gave it a fantastic color. For optimal results when printing, you may want to orient your build plate so that the WSU logo is facing upwards.
