The fossilized remains of WSC6523, a Pacific mastodon's nearly complete palate, can be seen, featuring its right upper second premolar (M2) and third premolar (M3). This significant find was unearthed from the West Dam at Diamond Valley Lake during the Late Pleistocene era. The original specimen resides within the collections of the Western Science Center.
