Update: January 11, 2020 A New LED Clip version for IP67 (3.65mm) is now available by popular demand. Update: October 27, 2019. A new 180-degree straight version has been added and a wider LED Strip with longer "drop" as requested. This should fit IP65 LEDs better - a 3mm gap thickness instead of the original 2mm. This clip was designed to hold my new WS2812B led's in place. After failing with hot-glue, which I thought would be easier and more permanent; I took measurements and came up with this simple design that fits perfectly in my case. I then modified the design to add the ability to screw it to a wall or use it with zip ties as a custom mount. If you use this clip, all I ask is for you to take the time and share your installation pictures and project details. Christmas is a special time of year for many people, including me. Letting me know that I helped with your Christmas light installation will make my day. My LED strips are 12mm with IP67 silicone sleeves (I prefer the IP65 Silicon coating). I believe you should be able to mount any LED strip except for 144/m as the light density would be too great. I was able to print about 12 of these per hour and forty minutes, using accelerated printing and a 0.28 layer height on my Creality Ender 3 printer. It's early, but Merry Christmas Everyone!
