This is a 3D model of the WS2812B "NeoPixel" indexable 5050 RGB LED from Adafruit, viewable on their product page at https://www.adafruit.com/products/1655. To facilitate PCB design using my EDA software, I created this schematic and footprint for the component. A key feature in my EDA software is the ability to attach a 3D model, allowing the PCB to be rendered in 3D. This capability inspired me to develop this model, which can now be used to enhance designs. The original AutoDesk Inventor part file, exported STL file, and final WRL file I generated have been included. In the WRL file, I restored the colors that were lost during the STL export process. A sample PCB design image demonstrates how the model integrates into my EDA software. This 3D model is designed primarily for modeling purposes rather than direct printing - it can be used as a tool to create other objects that interact with the LED or in various software applications like EDA tools.
