I designed these custom LED bars last Christmas as a unique project.\r\nThe components used for their construction include Clear acrylic pipes with an outer diameter of 5/8" and an inner diameter of 1/2", each measuring 6 feet long, sourced from TapPlastics.com.\r\nTo add structural integrity to the design, I utilized pipe inserts and zip ties in varying quantities. The zip ties were then securely attached to 1/2" x 1/2" wood dowels left over from a previous woodworking project.\r\nFor waterproofing purposes, silicon glue was applied to hold the inserts firmly in place. A central hole allows for the insertion of a 4-core LED ribbon cable (5v, GND, DI, and DO) which is used to power all the bars in series. Control over these lights is achieved using a single Wemos D1 mini device.
