To create a garland from WS2812 LED strip, you'll need a few essential items. First, some shade for LEDs is necessary to produce more consistent light output. This will also protect sensitive strip connectors from damage. Fortunately, the included files allow you to print as many shades as needed for your project. To assemble the shades, simply print two parts and join them together via their dovetail connections. For optimal results, use white PLA material with a 0.2 mm layer height, any infill pattern, and no supports required. When preparing your print job in your slicer software, make sure to rotate part called Led1 so its flat surface faces the build plate.
