The IKEA KURA bed tent transforms the top half of a bunk into a snug retreat. Having experimented with several 1 meter lengths of WS2812 LED strips in silicone casings, I decided it would be great to add one to the top of the canopy. The bed tent features a long rod running along its interior top, which is perfect for using with some basic clips that can be printed in minutes on fast mode. Simply attach the rectangular end of the clip around the LED light strip and the other end around the rod. Add your power source and you're good to go. I used a remote controller for the light strip available at an affordable price from various online stores. This is perfect for kids to have a fun light chase or different lighting effects, or set it to white for reading.
