WS2811 Column of lights (Matrix)
thingiverse
This is a simple 180 column of lights. You print the base and the top and then cut your matrix however tall you would like. This is meant to hold up to 19 pixels wide (AT 1 INCH SPACING). I have in the photo every other hole for 10 pixels across (Starting at the edge this will give you 10 across). There are 2 holes in the top and bottom for 1/2 pvc pipe to zip tie the matrix to. There is in the file a optional bracket (simple dovetail) that you can bolt on to the top to add extra (like a skull, or Christmas tree) if you wanted to, but not necessary. Since this will be outside I printed this in PETG. This is 290mm wide and 172.75mm deep. EDIT 2/19/2023 for people with smaller printers you can choose Left Base Right Base and Left Top Right Top. These files will fit a ender 3. When putting pieces together you will need: Phillips screwdriver, a open end wrench 5/16, #6 washers, and #6-32 x3/4 bolt and nuts (I picked up at lowes) don't overtighten bolts, it's just plastic. When printing this way may want to go with 50 percent infill just for bolt strength. Happy printing.
