My son required a designated spot to store his sunglasses in the car. The coin panel situated below the center console was not serving any practical purpose, but it presented an ideal opportunity for modification to accommodate his sunglasses. Our vehicle is a Subaru WRX Club Sport 2006 model. The coin storage compartment can be easily disassembled. By utilizing a Dremel, we were able to cut away the surrounding plastic and replace it with a custom 3D printed enclosure. To view detailed photos of this project, please refer to the accompanying images. The newly created space allows sunglasses up to 150mm wide to fit snugly inside. The print was crafted from PETG 1.75mm black filament using 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. This model is now available for your use, and we hope you find it beneficial as well.
