The central air vent guide in the Subaru WRX (2006) is prone to falling out and getting lost. We experienced this firsthand when one of our guides went missing. In order to replace the lost air vent guide, I needed to take action. The shiny metal insert was clearly out of place among the rest of the dash trim, so I decided to 3D print a replacement for both air vents, making them identical in the process. To match the existing components, I printed them in a matching silver grey colour. My 3D print was created using PLA 1.75mm Prusa silver filament, with a layer height of 0.05mm and 100% infill on my PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
