Greetings, I'm submitting my design for the competition. After a long break, I'm back to CAD. My objective is to alleviate hand tremors by incorporating a custom non-Newtonian fluid operated damper in the design. The sleeve is versatile and fits most adult hand sizes without adjustments. The damper can be personalized by changing its insert size/surface area, easily attachable using Velcro tape. Pins are either attached with Velcro or glued based on customer preferences for varying angles and support levels. The solution is simple to customize, lightweight, compact enough to wear under regular sleeves. However, it does limit hand movement to some extent due to active damping over passive. A mix of non-Newtonian liquid/oil ensures a balance between hand mobility and tremor reduction. Kindly share your thoughts and feedback.
