I wanted to design a one-piece, printable in place, foldable, and glue-free model that could only be created through 3D printing. After much effort, I successfully brought the Wright Brothers' Flyer from 1903 to life with wings made of just one layer. The most challenging part was figuring out the fixations. I tried numerous approaches before finally getting it right. To achieve this, I optimized the STL file for a resolution of 0.20mm. I'm thrilled with how the model turned out. The dimensions are 70 x 30 x 140 mm, and I've included step-by-step folding instructions to help you assemble it.
