Wrench Ratchet with rotating shift and compression spring

thingiverse

This tool is a functional wrench ratchet, crafted using the Duplicator 4 printer. All models were designed in Solidworks. A socket wrench pipe can be found at this link (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:219190), along with a video demonstration (http://youtu.be/HacHFjdPr9A). The ratchet is made of ABS, including a compression spring that works well. Rafts are used for smaller parts like the spring and pin, and ABS soup is utilized to ensure parts adhere to the glass plate. Makerware is preferred for ease and speed over ReplicatorG. The original base house part (base_house.stl) is included but requires support during printing. For modifying print settings in Makerware, consider using Proftweak from Nothinglabs (http://nothinglabs.blogspot.no/2013/09/introducing-proftweak-makerware-profile.html).
