Wrench for Sink Drain Nut

Wrench for Sink Drain Nut

thingiverse

This is a model for a wrench designed specifically to screw in the nut for a sink's drain, addressing a common issue encountered with sinks. The L shape of the wrench allows users to navigate around the cleared area. For convenience, I have uploaded an already compiled STL file for a 1.6-inch nut. Additionally, I've provided the OpenSCAD file so that you can customize it to fit the nut snugly. All measurements are in millimeters. Print Settings: Printer: Delta 3KU Rafts: It doesn't matter. Supports: No Resolution: .2 to .3 mm Infill: Depending on the print, 20 to 30% is a good starting point. Notes: When I initially printed this model, I used .2 mm resolution. However, .3 mm should work just as well and will result in faster prints. For material choice, I recommend using ESUN PETG for its toughness, but other PET-based materials should also be suitable. ABS might also work, but it's essential to be aware of the warping issue. As a general rule, avoid using PLA due to its brittleness.
