The F53.26 West B wreck represents the remnants of a sailing ship that boasted carvel planking, where staves were laid edge to edge, crafted from durable pine and oak wood during the first half of the 17th century. Measuring approximately 10 meters in length and 3 meters in width, the identified structure is significantly larger due to its submerged nature, with a substantial portion buried beneath the sandy seabed. Comprising staves of planking laid edge to edge, internal staves, and oak floor timbers spaced at regular intervals of 16-20 cm, the wreck's framework demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship. Furthermore, a keelson featuring a mast step has been identified, measuring 25 cm in length and 14 cm in width.
