I ended up cutting a shop razor with a Dremel, heating it up so that it would settle perfectly into the groove. Unfortunately, the razor wasn't sharp enough at a wedge to bite into the paper and cut through cleanly. I also discovered that the first size was too small. Increasing the size to 3 1/2 inches and attempting to settle an Exacto blade within the cut tip of the groove will help see if it cuts better. Will update after the test.
