I recently experienced a problem with my tailgate's rubber bump-stop/stabilizer, which broke off, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and design a replacement from scratch using 3D printing technology. The primary function of this component is to prevent the gate from shifting and rattling while in motion, ensuring a smoother driving experience. Initially, I continued driving without it, but fortunately, everything remained stable. To print the new stabilizer, I used Ninjflex with a 20% infill, which gave it an impressive springiness.
