WRA Spec Wing Fins - Reduces Waggle

WRA Spec Wing Fins - Reduces Waggle

thingiverse

I designed these to fly on my own WRA Spec wing. They are likely not "officially approved". However, I created them to make flying a more enjoyable FPV experience, reducing the waggle and helping to maintain its attitude in the air. There are multiple sizes available, but using the thinnest one possible will minimize weight. Place them on top and bottom of your wings, evenly spaced for maximum effect. If you fly and land on extremely rough terrain, use the thicker version on the bottom fins to make them more durable. **Note**: It's crucial to print with 100% infill and allow it to cool completely before removing from the printer bed. If necessary, place them on a flat surface, weighted lightly, so the fins do not warp. **Tips**: 1. Experiment with toe-in on the fins for extra grip in tight corners. 2. These designs were inspired by RiteWingRC models; you can see them here: http://ritewingrc.com/. 3. Although they might not meet WRA specs, I created these to eliminate waggle without adding excessive nose weight.
