After upgrading the Electronic Speed Controller in my WPL and JJRC trucks, I encountered an issue where I could no longer easily reach the switch to turn them on or off. The ESC is a widely used affordable brushed unit with or without brake capabilities. The replacement switch fits seamlessly into place of the original electronics I removed, but its nub is too short and requires an extension. To resolve this problem, I designed a simple adapter that now provides a highly intuitive switch interface. This new design allows for easy identification by touch and features distinct tactile feedback, making it easier to determine the switch's position. It engages perfectly with the small round protrusions on either side of the switch opening, which are commonly found on WPL or JJRC trucks. I secured the square cap into the base using CA glue and then applied a tiny amount of hot glue to hold the cap in place on the switch.
