Wowstick Mini Magnetic Case

The Wowstick Mini is a great electric screwdriver, but the stock case only fits two of the four items (one screwdriver + one bit tube). This is a case designed to keep the same functionality of the original case while holding all tubes + the screwdriver.

Design requirements:

Must be portable and covered

Keep the magnetic clasping

Keep the notch that allows for easy opening

(Subjective) Look sleek as hell All were met except for one mishap: The cap for the screwdriver doesn't fit. I'm just leaving the cap off because it provides no practical value anyway.

Update

I've added a v2 that adjusts tolerances, changes the holes to fit 8x3mm magnets, and increases space to allow room for the cap to stay on.

Parts Used

I have these magnets from Home Depot. They're irregular in shape and size (9.525mm OD, thanks imperial), but adjusting the holes to accomodate your magnets is pretty easy.

Due to the added weight, I recommend 6mm diameter or larger magnets, as the stock uses 4mm.

The screwdriver is the WowStick Mini found here.

Post-Print

The tolerances on the holes are pretty tight, so it may require filing. I was able to seat my magnets with light mallet tapping but your mileage may vary.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 5

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.15

Infill:

20% Gyroid

Filament:
Eryone PLA Galaxy Black/Red

Notes:

If you have trouble with the bridging over the hexagon design on the case, adjust the bridging angle to 45 degrees or however you see fit.
