Wowgo AT2 handle and motor guard
thingiverse
This is a handle and also a (partial) motor guard for Wowgo AT2 electric skateboard. You will need a piece of wood dowel rod or a steel pipe to create the handle. You can find in the archive, different hole diameters (16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm and 20mm) to fit what you find to create the handle. I also provide you the original Fusion 360 file to allow you to update or improve it. The hole diameter is available through modify menu in "Change parameters", the variable is called hole_diameter. After you update it, all the design is updated. You just have to go to file menu then 3D print then choose one object and redo it for the others objects. Every objects are easy to print even the motor shield part. After the print, you must bend it and slice it in the slots of each side. **How to build:** 1. Find what will be the handle (for example, Itook a piece of an old wooden playpen) 2. Measure its diameter XX 3. Print the corresponding side_left_XXmm.stl and side_right_XXmm.stl 4. print the shield.stl 5. Remove the belt guard and keep the screws 6. Screw the sides 7. Slide in the sides slots the shield 8. put the pipe in the holes of both sides and cut to the good size 9. Glue the shield in the slots 10. Also, maybe glue or fix the pipe which can be smaller than diameter. **Printing:** Infill - 30% Shields - 3 layers Top and bottom - 5 layers This way the 3D printed objects are really strong. Use glue to hold the shields inside the slots. I know that the colors are pretty strange but the neon green shield looks really good. Do not hesitate to customize it and share your makes, thanks. *Note: You can also reverse the handle and then it will be in higher position.*
