This bolts to the back of your remote face plate adapter for your Wouxun mobile radio. This for sure works on a KG-1000G. I'm pretty sure it's the same dimensions for the UV-980P as well.. It may also work on other Wouxun models with remote face plates, but I'm not sure if they're all the same. You'll need some 8-32 nylock nuts and 8-32 x 1/2" machine screws to attach the mount to the remote mount adapter.
