This is a high-performance topwater lure designed to perfectly imitate the erratic movements of an injured baitfish on the water's surface. The lure can be crafted from readily available fishing gear: a sturdy steel leader, a reliable barrel swivel, two sharp hooks, and just enough steel shot to achieve the ideal buoyancy level. For an even more effective lure, use a strong central rod made from steel piano wire. Print with 20% hexagonal infill to create hollow chambers that securely contain the weights in their optimal locations (this will also produce a distinctive rattle effect). I employed glow-in-the-dark PLA and smoothed out its surface using sandpaper and acetone to achieve a high-gloss finish.
