Worn Silver Flashlight

Worn Silver Flashlight

This flashlight took 3 hours, including texturing, and was completed in one sitting without taking any measurements. I struggled to find a way to make the model both low-poly and smooth at the same time without compromising the lighting, so I resorted to using edge split and subdivision techniques, which unfortunately resulted in a higher poly count than I would have liked. This became particularly frustrating during the UV unwrapping process and actual texturing phase. If you know of an effective method for smoothing complex cylindrical meshes with a low-poly count, please share your expertise as I was unable to crack this challenge myself.
