I've seen something that made me wonder who came up with this idea in the first place - it was definitely not a good one. What they call a coin is actually just a 6 cm in diameter, 1.25 cm thick piece of plastic. If you tried to use this thing to trade for goods or services at a store, the person behind the counter would be totally confused and probably ask their manager what's going on. They'd think you're trying to pull off some kind of prank or something. You'd essentially be devaluing your country's currency if you tried to pass this off as real money. But hey, I'm just a worm - I don't know anything about how things work.
