The worm gear design process proved more challenging than expected, as it was inspired by a surplus garage door opener gear set from a homemade solar panel tracker system. This particular worm gear has a 1/2" bore and 0.125" roll pin holes. However, the final verification will occur once the printer is acquired for testing.
