I'm excited to share with you how I designed this unique worm gear system. It all starts with creating a centroid path object, which serves as the foundation for the worm gear itself. From there, I manually edit the design to ensure it meets my exacting standards. This particular setup has some intriguing potential applications. By engaging multiple teeth on the driven gear and acting as a locked train, the worm gear effectively prevents the driven gear from rotating - a feature that could be beneficial in various mechanical systems.
