I'm crafting a printer that employs cables to maintain the bed level. To accomplish this, I must manage the tension on the cables effectively. This worm-gear box design is inspired by how a guitar adjusts the tension on its strings. To utilize the device, screw the box onto your frame, insert the end of the cable through the large slot on the center cog, and utilize the screw-driver slots on the side of the box to rotate the cable around the cog. Print Settings Printer: Makibox Rafts: Yes Supports: No Infill: 25 Notes: Print the box top upside down, and print the worm gear vertically. You don't require a raft, but I find it beneficial to create a clean break from the bed.
