I needed to design a Worm Gear capable of pulling a cable tighter than manual effort alone could manage. To accommodate stretching cables, adjustability was crucial. Here's how I achieved it. The assembly process is straightforward and I advise gluing parts together as needed for added stability. Due to the tight fit between components, some sanding will be required before they can be properly aligned. Applying a lubricant such as Petroleum Jelly is also highly recommended. To optimize printing efficiency, I created separate models for Left and Right configurations rather than duplicating existing designs. This allowed me to print all necessary parts in one session with flat surfaces facing down on the Raft.
