Worm Bait Box

This is a personal project to build a bait box that I can use when I take worms out of my garden for fishing. Holes at the top allow air to circulate, keeping the bait fresh. A filter insert is designed to let the soil pass through to the lid, exposing the worms and making them easier to grab. Since I haven't tested this design yet, I included three ideas for the filter. The scale needs to be adjusted and the design needs to be tested. The box itself should fit together with friction, but if it doesn't, I may consider adding strap loops around the outside or redesigning the lid to snap into place. If you make one of these bait boxes, please send me pictures and let me know what works and what doesn't. I'm working on putting this project together now.
