Worlds First 3D Printed Scooter!

thingiverse

This sleek scooter came together in a mere week, boasting road-worthiness that's truly impressive. Since I've yet to spot another 3D printed scooter on Thingiverse, this innovative design marks its inaugural appearance! Instructions for assembly are as follows: select an 18mm diameter pole, cut to any length you desire, and reserve it for the horizontal portion of the handlebars. Similarly, opt for a 16mm diameter pole, trimmed to the required height, to serve as the vertical handles. Underneath the deck, a sturdy 2X1 inch piece of wood, carefully measured after decking components are in place, ensures structural integrity. For proper decking order: begin with the thickest/smallest part at the bottom; this should be followed by two normal-sized decks, then the largest, wheel holder unit, and finally complete it with another deck featuring a thicker/thinner wall. Begin drilling holes through each decking component's upper layer into supporting wooden planks. Once ready, fit a diagonal support part, containing a central aperture on one side, onto the initial (thinnest) piece of the decking setup, followed by relevant screwing procedures. Next up: add an additional plastic element, modelled after a credit card in size and shape, positioned strategically beneath the wooden understructure component, further solidifying structural cohesion via screwed reinforcements. Finally secure a vertical supporting pillar to this front wheel-holding contraption – don't hesitate to coat it heavily with strong adhesive. Take a supplementary 18mm cylindrical piece measuring approximately half-a-foot; press its free end through diagonal upper part, with exactly one centimeter protruding towards the underside. Beneath this extension point is advisable placement of metal washer for reinforced structural fortitude. After integrating rollerblade type wheels to assigned positions along the base, carefully centre the horizontally placed cylindrical supporting unit within custom moulding component designed specifically as hold-fast anchoring platform; ensure adhesive application. You should be ready for riding adventures! Can you genuinely express confidence in the ride stability provided by a 13-year-old inventor's design?
