The MP40 submachine gun is accurately modeled in Blender 2.77, utilizing Cycles for rendering. The intricate design includes individual components that can easily be rigged and animated, making it suitable for use in games. The Blender file contains additional props such as 9mm bullets, a German helmet, magazine cases, and three magazines. Polygon counts for each model are provided below: Submachine Gun (35132 polygons, 49780 vertices), German Helmet (7616 polygons, 7713 vertices), Magazine Bag (2562 polygons, 2394 vertices), and Three Magazines in Bag (10251 polygons, 10125 vertices). Models are organized by layer for easy access. While the submachine gun is not ready for subsurf division, the helmet has been subsurfed. Exported files in formats such as 3DS have not been tested; however, the creator will provide new files if necessary. Textures were created in Photoshop and can be shared upon request. The creator welcomes feedback on any aspect of the model.
