revision 8 - 11-05-2018 : All the bits have been printing. I have added two more photos. I have learned to be patient and just use the 0.4mm nozzle, the 1mm and 0.6 makes it look too rough for my liking. Am going to sort the lighting this weekend and install an antenna with a light on top. revision 7 - 08-0502018 : I have added five more photos, I am 90% there now! revision 6 - 04-05-2018 : (May the 4Th be with you!) I have added two photos today of the next section that I have printed. At home i am printing the final tall section before i do the roof. revision 5 - 01-05-2018 : I have removed the core! I refreshed the files. the core has been left in the base like in the original. revision 4 - 30-04-2018 : I did not succeed with the 1mm nozzle BUT I was successful with the 0.6, so its coming along a bit quicker now and resolution is not too bad, I have added a 4 more photos, tested the lights and all working!! revision 3 - 27-04-2018 : I have added a stronger base called base_print upside down_01_better. It has a bit of extra glass to help support the columns. I have not printed the original yet but i am afraid it wont hold too well so i made this second version revision 2 - 26-04-2018 note: If you would like to see the built progress of this project you should do so by following me on instagram, I am posting there almost daily. look for hugo archicad on instagram revision 1 - 23-04-2018 I am 3D printing one of the tallest bits now (I am doing it on a CR-10 and it will be big so its taking a while) Cura says it will take 5 days, so after this segment I will attempt to print it with a 1mm nozzle to speed things up). I have attached the first 3 photos after 60 hours of printing. I have had a soft spot for this beautiful building design I have been wanting to model it for a couple of years now. I have finally done it. broken up in parts to fit a CR-10 at 1:100 scale I will start printing this shortly just waiting on the filament to arrive. Once done i will put perspex at the glass line at the podium level (base) 6 parts in total.
