World Trade Center Complex 1 & 2 (Twin Towers.)

Completed in 1973, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were engineering marvels due to them being some of the largest buildings in the world at that time, and were a symbol of Americas economic power. In 1993, bombs were detonated in the basement of the complex, but the towers stood strong. They would continue to stand until September 11th, 2001, when 2 commercial planes crashed into the towers, leading to their collapse.
