World Series Trophy

World Series Trophy

thingiverse

A precise replica of the World Series Trophy, or Commissioner's Trophy, designed specifically for Major League Baseball. This detailed model is based directly on the current version in use. The base proudly displays "World Series Champions" and sits atop a baseball, serving as the central element of the trophy. The top portion features thirty flags, each representing one of the MLB teams. These flags are strategically positioned around the perimeter of the base, adding to its authenticity. This scale model is significantly smaller than the actual trophy, measuring approximately 1/5 in size. Several key details have been omitted from this model, including the commissioner's signature, latitude and longitude lines on the baseball, and engraved team names on the flags. To achieve a more realistic appearance, I employed silver for printing the base and flags, while gold plastic was used for the ring that holds the flags in place. Additionally, gold paint was applied to the seams of both the baseball and flags. The flags are arranged in two distinct groupings: fifteen or three sets of five. To ensure a complete collection, I printed two copies of each configuration, resulting in a total of thirty flags. The baseball and laces utilized in this model were generously provided by Ethan Michaud's design on Tinkercad, which can be accessed at https://tinkercad.com/things/bB68cQPwZZi.
