World of Warcraft - Ashkandi
thingiverse
This sword takes its inspiration from Ashkandi, the iconic blade from World of Warcraft. While it may not be an exact replica, its design should be recognizable to fans of the game. As a work-in-progress model, it's still undergoing refinement. Once I've completed printing and assembled it successfully, this disclaimer will be removed. The sword was created using Blender 2.8, requiring around 60 hours of meticulous crafting. Its massive size - nearly 2 meters in length - necessitates division into smaller pieces to accommodate most printers. The model is split into two sides: an upper section and a lower one, allowing for flat printing with minimal support requirements. Assembly involves either drilling small holes for dowels or creating puzzle-piece connectors. Additionally, there's space for a wooden core, measuring 1.5 meters in length and 28mm in diameter. To complete the sword, you'll need 104 dowels.
