This 3D model is a precise representation of the terrestrial globe, scaled to exact proportions, as you may have noticed. The dimensions accurately reflect the continents' real sizes and shapes. Many maps distort the dimensions of certain countries or islands, for instance Greenland, which appears larger than Africa, although this is not true - Africa is 14 times bigger. To create a realistic model, I have developed several terrestrial globe models. In this particular model, you can see the relief in detail. The files weigh significantly due to the large number of vertices (258482) and polygons (516960) required to make a portrait as close to reality as possible. To add an extra layer of realism, I have incorporated textures downloaded from the NASA page, simulating the globe's colors. Both with and without texture renderings are included, showcasing the level of detail involved in its creation.
