This is a prototype Leg Catch (spring) holding the feet up or down of my Workmate.I designed this as exercise for 3D printing and at the same time replacing broken parts of my workmate, using Solidworks Professional.The FEA study shows stress and deformation of the PLA material I used.Using a new Prusa MK3S (2020) I optimised sticking to the bed by introducing 3 runners 'sticking pads' attached to the product, 0.2 mm thick, easy to cut.All CAD files are accurate to the original product within 0.1 mm (measured).
