Fixing Broken Black and Decker Workmate Handles. My handles on my reliable B&D WorkMate had broken, most likely due to misuse. To resolve this issue, I designed new ones using SolidWorks and printed them with a TOM Mk7. The newly made handles are more robust than the originals in my opinion. To replace the old handles, remove their remains and knock out the pins with a 4mm drift or an old screwdriver. Download the file provided, generate gcode for printing with 100% fill (which takes approximately 2 hours using Jetty accelerated firmware), then ream out the holes with a 11mm drill if needed (7/16" is a close substitute). Re-insert the pins and enjoy your improved WorkMate!
