Working Time Machine

This practical construct expands upon the gears in my 100HEX Working Gear Kit to create a functioning geared clock faceplate. I discovered an ideal clock mechanism on Amazon, specifically the Mudder High Torque Hands Clock Mechanism with 20 mm shaft length. The gears must be turned manually since the force is too great for the clock mechanism to drive them. I printed this on a multi-material printer, but the face plate and stand can be printed without the inlays and then left as is or painted later. For aesthetic reasons, I reduced the bolt head size compared to the Working Gear Kit. A new tool is included to tighten these bolts securely. The bushing fits inside the large 48 tooth gear in the center, allowing it to spin freely when tightening down the clock mechanism nut. Here's a short video: https://youtu.be/4pt103Zv_Ow
