EDIT: I realized after printing this out that I hadn't uploaded all the "Flaps" yet. Feeling like an idiot now, I've uploaded them all. If you've already printed something, there's no need to reprint - just print the rest of the flaps. I haven't finished printing the whole thing yet, but printing small segments has worked really well so far. It's 100% compatible with FDM printers. Update 1: I made the sliders thicker to provide friction and keep the shades open. Update 2: On February 24th, 2019, I bulked up the frame of the glasses slightly to prevent it from snapping during print. While it still prints weakly in its default orientation, it should be fine for wearing. I remade these designs specifically for FDM printers based on a Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/aqbweb/horrified_by_the_trendy_shutter_sunglasses_i/ To print successfully: * Just print all STLs once * You'll definitely need to use supports - be sure to put them in the holes where you clip the blinds, as a 110-degree overhang can cause the blinds not to clip in and stay. * I've oriented the STLs in what I think is the best way possible. If you have a better approach, feel free to try it out.
