Working Nunchaku (modular)
thingiverse
A huge shout-out to all my friends on the Creality CR10 user group forum! You guys are a massive help as always, and some folks even beta test these designs - it really helps! I hope you enjoy this amazing set of nunchaku, where you can pick your chain length and grip shape! There are round or octagonal grips, and 5, 6 & 7 link chains to choose from! Please READ THE DESCRIPTION/PRINT SETTINGS as these can quickly become hazardous, and are still pretty painful even printed as described. There is an assembly video and a test video of their use; but please read the below safety concerns, as well as the printing settings associated with these to avoid any weak spots in the print. Use extreme care when using these. If printed too solid, THESE ARE NO LONGER A TOY and shouldn't be treated as such. I want to remind you that I am not liable for damages or injuries caused by this design. Please exercise caution!!! Here are some key points to keep in mind: Print this with plenty of top layers to avoid a weak joint where the threaded part of the body meets the thickest portion of the body. I used 5 top layers. The rest has been engineered to withstand regular stresses in practical (non combat) use. You can find an assembly video and a test video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLBHtLQkoRA and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cq_TKWJ1Yeg
