Working Nerf Rival Catapult

Working Nerf Rival Catapult

thingiverse

This is an innovative catapult that fires high-velocity Nerf Rival rounds with precision and power. Assembly requires a small amount of superglue, but be careful not to glue the spin rod itself, as it needs to move freely in any of its multiple holes to adjust the trajectory. As one of my initial designs, this catapult still has room for improvement, but it's already proven to be an effective and fun project. When printing, take care not to exert too much force or the design may break after a few uses. However, filling in some of the struts that form the body can make it easier to print and more durable. I've added a "filled in" version of this design that should print smoothly at 0.2mm layer height. This modification makes the catapult even more accessible for those who want to try their hand at building one. The springs used in this catapult come from spring kits like the ones found on Amazon, specifically product B00VDR9AI2.
