These models work seamlessly and roll smoothly, ready to be attached to your preferred 3D printed wagon. In the future, I aim to create intricate detail parts, such as roller bearing side details, that can be printed horizontally and securely glued on. Designed specifically for scratch building enthusiasts, these wheels adhere to n-scale specifications, with the exception of slightly wider flanges and a +0.2mm wider tread. Although not exhaustively tested, I have successfully demonstrated their functionality on printed track in a quick video. These designs were carefully crafted with SLA printing in mind, offering two versions of the bogie: (1) A safe version that can be printed effortlessly on any FDM printer if done slowly and carefully. (2) A minimal version that presents a challenging print for FDM printers, particularly if retraction settings are not optimized, but should work flawlessly with SLA printing (tested only on FDM). The wheels function perfectly with either bogie version. A standard household staple serves as the axle. When printed on FDM, optimal results can be achieved at a resolution of 0.12 or lower and a slow print speed of less than 10mm/s.
