Mini Cannon that Fires Mini Marshmallows I built a Revolutionary War-style cannon for my History class and I thought it would be great fun to design it to shoot Mini Marshmallows in class. Print Settings Rafts Not Required Supports None Resolution 0.15 Infill 20 Notes: The parts assemble quickly, and you can load the cannon with a charge from a party popper. If you carefully cut open a party popper, you can pull the string through the hole in the back of the cannon and fire mini marshmallows or other objects that fit down the barrel. Designing This Project I created this model using Tinkercad, which took about an hour to complete. I designed it to use a small charge from any standard party popper. Project: Mini Cannon Objectives: By completing this project, you will learn about Revolutionary War cannons. • Audiences: Anyone in grades 3-8 would benefit from doing this project. • Preparation: You will need parental assistance and supervision when taking apart the party poppers. • Steps to Follow: 1. Print out the .stl file on a 3D printer in the Things tab. 2. Buy pull-string party poppers and take them apart carefully. 3. Load the cannon and insert a mini marshmallow into the barrel. Pull the string to fire the mini marshmallow across the room. Results: You should now have a functioning Mini Cannon.
