A 40mm rubber sealant ring ensures waterproofing throughout the structure. Three pieces of 2mm plastic rods are employed as support beams. An 8mm high intensity LED illuminates the lamp area. The upper shell houses a set of DIY flashing electronics. In the lower shell, an 180mAH LiPol battery is stored for powering purposes. A 15mm circular magnet is placed at the bottom of the lower shell to facilitate easy retrieval from water. Additionally, pieces of lead sheet are used in the bottom of the lower shell to stabilize the center of gravity while submerged in water.
