Working A320 Flap Lever for TCA Quadrant - Flight Simulator - Thrustmaster
cults3d
I didn't like the original TCA Flap Lever. First of all, because it was missing the normal A320 function (lifting it to move) This resulted in me accidentally moving it to the wrong position. And second of all, it just doesn't feel correct to just friction move it. So months ago I set out to build myself another flap lever for the Quadrant Addon and this is where I ended up. The new lever just feels way better when operating and the accidental movements are gone. I wanted it to be easy to install and so the only additional thing needed is a spring (described below) everything else stays the same. Unfortunately, there is currently no install video. But I'm planning to create one as soon as there is time for me to do so. Rest assured, it's very easy to do. Installation Remove the original screw and lever. Stick the grooved inserts (detents) with double-sided tape. Slide the lower part onto the lever (the cut-out for the screw should face forward for easier reinstallation). Place the spring and then attach the upper part by pushing it down. Slightly push down the upper part so the screw enters the thread, and then carefully screw the screw back in (avoid cross-threading). And you are done This way, the lever can be converted to the new one within 5 minutes. Enjoy :D
