This notched deer rib was discovered at the Consol site, a multifaceted Monongahela tradition village site situated in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The artifact was unearthed archaeologically by members of the Westmoreland Archaeological Society, a local chapter of the prestigious Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology. It was digitally scanned using a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner at the Virtual Curation Laboratory. This valuable object is courtesy of the Westmoreland Archaeological Society.
